Changelog
Restyled in the site's shared look: white, Helvetica, plain titles.
Renamed The Book of the
Generations — the phrase Genesis 5:1 and Matthew 1:1 share — and moved to
/generations/; the old /patriarchs/ address redirects.
The line now runs past Perez to
Jesus: Ruth 4 to David, the kings of Judah with the mothers Kings names beside
them, and Matthew 1 through the exile to Joseph and Mary. The four kings Matthew
leaves out are drawn as dotted rungs, the rail from Joseph to Jesus is dashed
for a descent by law rather than blood, and two toledot are added — Ruth 4:18
and Matthew 1:1. The lifespan view is unchanged.
First published: Adam to Joseph's
sons from Genesis, with every lifespan the book states on one axis.
